Lyndy is a Board Certified Elder Law Attorney who graduated with honors from Stetson University College of Law. During law school, she held internships with the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the United States Attorney’s Office. Prior to joining Fisher & Sauls, she worked as a Staff Attorney with the Thirteenth Judicial Circuit of Florida and as an elder law attorney at a St. Petersburg law firm.
Elder law often involves family dynamics and crisis planning, and Lyndy’s background in psychology and counseling have equipped her to handle those situations in a calm and compassionate manner. Lyndy previously worked for the University of Memphis as a Project Coordinator for a National Institutes of Health research study that examined smoking cessation in the elderly. She conducted behavioral interventions with seniors, recruited and trained physicians, administered psychological assessments, and performed community outreach.
While in Memphis, she volunteered for many years as a suicide and crisis intervention counselor where she handled calls from people in a wide variety of crisis situations. She also volunteered at Memphis Mental Health Institute with patients having severe mental illness.
In her free time, Lyndy enjoys traveling and participating in triathlons.
